Ectopic Eruption of the Lower Lateral Incisor: Diagnosis and Treatment

The purpose of this article is to present an unusual situation - the ectopic eruption of the lower lateral incisor - through the case report of a patient with a common Class I malocclusion in the early stage of the mixed dentition. The article focuses on the diagnosis of the ectopic eruption and advocates its treatment through an orthodontic therapy performed in the early mixed dentition, previously to the eruption of the permanent canine.
