Surgical Orthodontic Treatment of Class III

Jaw discrepancies had always defied the orthodontic treatment limits, considering that most of these cases can’t be corrected using only orthodontic procedures and also require surgical movements. This work emphasize some aspects considered importants to the proper planning of orthodontic-surgical Class III treatment, since orthodontic mechanics differs in many aspects if applied in a surgical case.
