Treatment of Class II, division 1 malocclusion with the Fränkel appliance (FR). A case Report

There are several types of functional appliances that can be used in the treatment of Class II, division 1 malocclusions. This article presents a literature review on the appliance types and on the mechanism of action of the Functional Regulator of Fränkel (FR). A clinical case corrected with the FR1c is also presented and the treatment results are discussed.
