Allied with a literature review directly related to the issue, the purpose of this present text, was to contribute to the study of the graph recording methods of the condilar position variation, The employment of a three-dimensional recorder of condylar displacement, will be presented and discussed, in a detailed way, in order to allow a current aplication in the diagnosis and treatment planning in Orthodontics. In this text will be emphasized the CR recording by means of a stable material (silicon), for mounting casts in semi-adjustable articulators and ortoflex.
