Space Maintainers in Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontics

In a review of the literature, we investigated the classics and the moderns models of the differents kinds of space mantainers and its respective variations. Some of the principal models of the space maintainers founded in the literature review were maked, respecting all ideals criterious of its caracteristics of making. We conclued that each appliance has a individual indication for each case.
