Influence of Orthodontic Apparatology in the Microorganisms Colonization on the Teeth’s Surface

The insertion of orthodontic apparatus is the most important enviroment change after the dental eruption that can bring quantitative alterations on the balance state of the month’s microorganisms, establishing the dental plaque. Due to the importance of orthodontic apparatology in the process of microorganisms’colonization on the teeth’s surface, the present research had the purpose of: quantify the colonies of streptococcus mutans group, lactobacillis and candida present on the patient’s dental plaque that used orthodontic apparatology; to determine the colonization on the teeth’s surface.
