Mucogingival Surgery Used in the Mantainance of Attached Gingiva in Ectopically Erupting Canines

This article’s aim was to describe a periodontal surgery technique used in the apical displacement of the keratinized tissue to preserve it, in two maxillary ectopic canines that are erupting much more through buccal face in a eleven years old child. Three months after the surgery, we could notice that the technique used showed such good clinical results, once used to preserve and mantain the attached gingiva line in the ectopic canines of the patients that will be submitted to orthodontic treatment.
