Lingual Technique: a Perspective to Esthetic Treatment

The aim of this article is to describe clinical aspects of the Lingual Technique (LT). This kind of orthodontics approach is essentially esthetic, but considering the difficult to access the lingual surface and because the work position is extremely hard to the professional, few orthodontists can use that technique and it is necessary very high skill, knowledge about the principles and limitations of the technique. The authors will describe in details, using a clinical case, the clinical and laboratorial steps and additional information about how to minimize side effects.
