Orbital apex syndrome following craniofacial trauma

The incidence of injury in the craniomaxillofacial region, especially that involving the midface, is related to potential injury in the orbital region, which may progress to visual impairment and even blindness. his study aims to report the case of a patient with craniofacial trauma who developed the Orbital Apex Syndrome (OAS) which resulted in total loss of vision in his left eye. Early OAS diagnosis and appropriate treatment minimize the chances of progression to blindness.
