The main challenge of the architectural project, for the clinic to meet the needs of the owners, was to unite three main factors: the unevenness of the land, solar orientation and the beautiful view of Lake Aratimbó, one of the most beautiful landscapes of Umuarama, a city located in the northwest of Paraná. Through a quick dialogue with the clients, it was possible to establish the concept of the project to be followed: straight lines, contemporary traces and circulation with fluidity. The application of noble materials for the composition of the volumetry of the main façade of the building — such as laser-cut corten steel plates — goes far beyond aesthetics; they are elements of visual and solar barrier for the four service rooms facing the façade.
