Treatment of mild crowding with aesthetic aligners

Introduction: Currently, adult patients have valued aesthetic orthodontic treatment, preferring appliances called invisible due to their discretion. Several people with mild to moderate crowding avoid orthodontic treatment, due to the aversion for traditional fixed appliances. The objective of this work is to present a treatment option for mild crowding by means of aesthetic aligners, describing important aspects such as indications, contraindications, advantages and disadvantages, illustrating with cases treated with these aligners.
