Why do I need to know what is the momento to force ratio

This is an article that aims to explain what is the moment-to-force ratio in orthodontics and to describe its usefulness in the clinic and the academia. The examples explain how to apply to the bracket an equivalent force system to a simple force applied to a tooth and show its relationship to the type of movement produced. Finally, it is described how the moment-to-force ratio can control differential stresses in the periodontium and manage the control of anchorage.
