The mini-implants have been increasingly used in Orthodontics, for different types of tooth movement, facilitating the orthodontic mechanics. They are mainly used for molars intrusion, mesial and distal movement of tooth individually, open bite closure and retraction of anterior teeth in cases of premolar extraction. In some cases, they have been used for distal movement of mandibular molars, which is considered a difficult movement to be obtained. The objective of this work is to present a clinical case of retraction and distal movement of all mandibular teeth, with anchorage in orthodontic mini-implants, installed in the mandibular retromolar region for compensatory correction of Class III malocclusion and anterior tip to tip bite.
