In order to close self-ligating brackets clips, it is necessary to fully insert the wire into the slots. In cases of severe crowding, this might be an issue. Nevertheless, clinical tweezers can be modified in order to handle this task, and they will also be useful to insert open springs into conventional or self-ligating brackets.
