Digital Ideal Archwire Design (DIAD): system description

The objective of this article is to present a simplified method for making the ideal arch through a virtual set-up, where each bracket will present a thin pad, to regularize the lingual surface of the teeth, regardless of the shape of the arch used — straight wire, mushroom, Christmas or mixed —, providing comfortable and biological treatments, with better mechanical control.
