Treatment of Angle Class I malocclusion with vertical pattern, dental biprotrusion and anterior open bite

The aim of this paper is to present the case report of a patient aged 10 years and 6 months with Angle Class I malocclusion, dental biprotrusion, impacted maxillary right canine, anterior open bite and vertical growth pattern. The treatment comprised extraction of the four first premolars and retraction of the anterior teeth with moderate anchorage control. Treatment outcome was an ideal occlusion, with improvement of the facial profile and smile harmony.
