GUILHERME THIESEN

Introduction: When properly diagnosed and planned, sequential distalization using Invisalign® system obtains great clinical results. However, the correction of severe Class II malocclusions often requires the use of auxiliary devices to enhance or provide adequate sagittal correction. Objective: Therefore, the purpose of this article is to describe the use of auxiliary methods to maximize sequential distalization in the maxilla with orthodontic clear aligners, either by Class II intermaxillary elastics or temporary anchorage devices.

Keywords: Angle Class II. Orthodontic appliances, Malocclusion. Mini dental implant.
